VOLUNTEER

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international non-profit organization dedicated to serving the poor and providing others with the opportunity to serve.

There are two main areas in which you can help.

Call Team

Our Callers are the first person to communicate with someone in need   You will speak with them over the phone to see if they are eligible for help.  If they are eligible, you will refer them to a home visit team.  If they are not eligible, you will be provided with a list of other resources to give them where they might receive the best help available.

Home Visit Team

Our volunteers visit with people in need in their homes or a mutually arranged place to get first-hand insight into their situation. We start by listening to their stories and discussing their needs.  The Home Visit Team will make a determination on how we can best help. Next, we connect them to our own and other community resources.

If you are interested in becoming a Vincentian please call 817-478-8206 x401 or stop by the church:
